The 1984 comedy Ghostbusters is one of the funniest films ever made, and it will now be remembered as the first film to be published in USB flash drive .
PNY and Sony Pictures Entertainment has recently announced plans to pre-load the film with a special mark of 2 GB USB key .
The film is placed on a flash drive in a DRM format , if a user can not copy it. However, you can download to your PC in case you need your ectoplasmic fix for the day.
Unfortunately, if you try to play the film without the flash disk inserted, you will get slimed, because it will not work.
This is the first time a film has been used to sell a flash drive , but it will probably not be the last. Maybe all films will be on Flash Drives one day, but these flash disks will probably be some sort of special packaging.
This Ghostbusters flash drive , by itself, has no image of any kind, but it does have 12 hours of video playback, 33 hours of music and 1080 photo capacity.
